A MAN who was involved in a car accident while drunk attacked the doctor and male nurse who transported him by ambulance to the Costa del Sol Hospital, before escaping from the ambulance and running down the motorway until he was arrested.

Hitting an officer
A MAN has been sentenced to six months in prison and a €240 fine for hitting a local policeman who reprimanded him for insulting and threatening the mayor of Cuevas de San Marcos in February 2009.

Drive over
THE Supreme Court has reduced the 37-year sentence given to the driver who deliberately ran over nine people in Calle Larios, Malaga, in 2008, to 20 years. Five people were injured.
