POLICE are searching for two drug smugglers men which escaped following a chase.

Guardia Civil and Local Police in Marbella seized 1,260 kilos of hashish in a drugs bust against a gang operating from Puerto Cabopino.

The Guardia Civil were chasing a vehicle they suspected of transporting drugs, occupied by two people who attempted to flee at high speed and even tried to ram the patrol car.

The vehicle was located on a Marbella urbanization where the officers identified the house used to store the drugs.

They also seized at yacht moored at the port used to bring the drugs from Morocco.
