Crime Scene Spain is a satellite site of the Euro Weekly News media group based in the beautiful region of Andalucia, Spain. The Euro Weekly News produce the largest English language newspapers in Spain that covers 5 specific regions of Spain. On a weekly basis we distribute 134,000 copies of our free newspapers in the Costa de Almeria, Costa Blanca, Costa Del Sol, Axarquia – Malaga East and Mallorca.

Having a very busy newsroom on the Costa Del Sol we are constantly in contact with law enforcement agencies in Spain and receive breaking news on a daily basis dealing with drug busts, disruption of gangs, murders, mayoral and town hall corruptions, domestic violence, animal abuse cases and just about anything else you can think of.

Crime Scene Spain has been started up as dedicated site for readers who find reading crime stories interesting and we will be adding more and more stories and features to this site on a regular basis, we also receive news bulletins and press releases from International law enforcement agencies such as Interpol and the FBI which we wil be filing in our International section on this site.

So find out more about the under belly of life in Spain that is virtually never apparent when visiting these climes on holidays, the Costa del Sol has always been a notorious haunt for British criminals “on the run” who wish to lay low out of sight and due to the close proximity to the African continent and the free travel between European member state countries there is now a whole melting pot of different people in this region that make up an underworld of individuals and gangs that are not always as nice as you and me!

Also stay tuned for some great feature stories and videos from the FBI which will give you a fascinating insight into how the FBI works and it’s various departments that strive to combat crime not only in the US but also by collaborating with other worldwide agencies.

Please don’t get put off of the beautiful country of Spain by the stories you read on this site though, the people you will read about move through the communities on a daily basis and are very rarely seen or come into contact with the general public. These type of people exist in virtually all walks of life throughout the world and basically if you go looking for trouble you will more than likely cross paths with certain characters at some point, but if you don’t go looking for trouble and lead a normal life you can guarantee you will probably never ever know who these people are.

Thanks for visiting and please, don’t have nightmares.

We were launch in 1999 in Torrevieja to try to reduce crime and vandalism in total collaboration with the Police Force. Our community security system is based on the Spanish Police Force & American/UK NHW system which are working together quiet nicely. We just report to the Police, like responsible citizens, any
suspicious situations that affect our communities. We
are not vigilantes, we do not patrol the roads, we don’t confront or intervene.
We have a Central Committee based in Torrevieja, voted
every year by the citizens, and we help other groups
any time they need us, and meet the Police and Guardia when necessary. Anyone can be a member, they do not need to belong to any group, but as member of our
communities, the Police need their help, ir would be nice if they report anything suspicious.
